Site Patrol Award

Welcome to our Site Patrol Awards page! We've dedicated this page to the justice and public safety sites that best embrace new technologies. Click below to see how these departments are doing their jobs more quickly and efficiently, with a little help from hi-tech.

The Site Patrol winners this week are both court sites, incorporating the most sophisticated designs to get their readership up-to-the-minute court information, all at the click of a mouse!

Washtenaw County Trial Court, Michigan

Along with electronic filing, this site include a searchable database of unpublished trial court opinions, immediate docket access for lawyers, police and litigants, and a daily list that enbales attorneys and litigants to get immediate and non-telephonic information regarding orders that have been signed by the court.

Dallas 5th District Court of Appeals

Besides boasting 10,000 opinions available on-line, this site uses a Microsoft-based innovation called eNotes!. Users register an email name, and then subscribe for any case(s) they might wish to monitor. If the case(s) change, the system sends an email of the change!
